Sisterlocks. I sometimes don't like to use the word "dreads" when some
folks think of it in a negative way like something, you dread. "Locs" is a nice
description but I use the words "dreads and locs" with my heart in the right
place! . However when you say dreadlocks some people feel it should be in
the context of wearing your dreads in the respect and uplifting the name of
God, in fear and of praise of the Lord! Regardless if you where them
because you like them or because of spiritual reasons; we take pride in our
work at Agapelocks and love what we do. Dreadlocks or the word "Dread" to
some people may mean that they would "Dread doing something that may
be unpleasing to God" (Leviticus 21:5) so hence the name Dreadlocks and
may your wearing them and understanding what your heart tells you.... bring
peace, love & joy and gorgeous locs, dreadlocks whatever you do..don't
sweat the small stuff.
